- Customer is deemed to have given STS ongoing and continuous authorization to charge any credit card provided to STS or any other Payment Account as long as Customer uses the Services.
E-911 & Emergency Service Limitations
- Power & Network Disruptions: 9-1-1 Service will NOT work if you experience a power outage, service outage, or any other network disruption.
- Location Accuracy: You may not be able to reach the correct emergency services if you move your phone to a location different from the address you initially registered. Register accurate location information every time you move the equipment.

Do I need to dig or trench for installation?
No. Our wireless cellular technology completely eliminates the need for expensive and destructive trenching to run copper landlines.
Is additional monitoring required?
Unlike other competitors, there is no added monitoring required with our service.
How easy is the system to self-install?
In order to install your unit, first please attach each standoff to the corners behind the weatherproof box. After confirming the required high restrictions, kindly hang your emergency unit where the middle of the unit is approximately 4 ft off the ground. Use a level to ensure a straight install. The power cord can be secured as shown, or put through a wall or use wire coverings available at your local hardware stores. After plugging in your device, turn it on by using the power switch inside the unit as shown. Wait five full minutes. Please note: service activation must be confirmed by SoutheastTelephone's team before the unit will work. Because this is an auto-dial model, you will not be able to make standard outgoing calls. The unit will still accept inbound calls, which you can use to initially test your new service. Finally, to complete testing, pick up the receiver, it will automatically dial 911, and kindly explain to them that this is not an emergency and that this is a test call. The 911 dispatch will confirm your location, name, address, and phone number.
What happens after the first 12 months?
Your service rate will simply adjust to your reduced, contracted rate of $39.99 per month for the remainder of your 36-month agreement. Your service rate will simply adjust to our standard, competitive rate of $50.00 per month after your 36-month agreement on month-to-month terms. Taxes, fees and other terms apply.
